Gemma Coles, founder & CEO of Head Over Heels Gymnastics and Shuffle Up Games, started this journey with her gymnastics club back in the year 2000 when she was just 18, and since has never looked back!
Gemma’s ambition did not just stop at three kids, a husband and a gym club…. she went on to create a series of books, followed by a range of games under her second brand Shuffle Up.
Since then she has mentored her niece who is now running the gym club and now predominantly works on her gym products. Selling over 50,000 copies of books in just the UK, not to mention the 80,000 fitness games sold globally!
Her sole focus is to make gymnastics more accessible for all and achieving her lifelong goal to increase global sports participation as a whole, using her wealth of knowledge & experience of 25 years.
One of her most influential mentors Roger Castle MBE, who committed over 60 years of his life, helped her to change a childhood dream into the reality that it is today. Her other mentor, Jo Mansbridge, helped nurture Gemma’s passion and has also had a huge impact on building the solid foundations that she uses today.
With a fantastic team to help her achieve this vision, and the help of friends and colleagues – both of her brands are here to stay and growing every day!
