About The Author & FAQ
Gemma Coles lives in Bournemouth with her husband and three children, where she has run a successful recreational Gymnastics Club, Head Over Heels Gymnastics, since 2000.
“I was one of the kids you occasionally see tumbling ‘Head Over Heels’ along the road – why walk on your feet when you can walk on your hands? This enthusiasm never left me, leading to a career teaching gymnastics where, along the way, I have learnt a great number of hints and tips that I use every day teaching the sport. I hope to share this knowledge with as many people as possible through our books, apps and DVD’s. I hope you get as much enjoyment from our products as we have had making them.”

Volume 2 Pair and Trio Balances is recommended for children aged 6-16 years and will encourage younger and older children to work together creating balances.
Outline of contents
Volume 1 begins with example warms-ups and stretches, moving on to cover posture and all basic gymnastics shapes, which are instrumental in performing more complex skills. These skills are then covered in the next sections; Jumps, Skills, Rolls and Leaps. Bringing all of these skills together, the book then demonstrates how combined, these skills can be used to create routines.
Volume 2 takes the skills learned in volume 1 and incorporates them into pair and trio balances. The book starts with a series of fun activities and ways to warm up in pairs and trios. Moving on to then provide pages and pages of exciting balances grouped into sections using the skills that are used in the balances. Through working together the gymnasts will develop teamwork, co-operation and trust whilst having hours of fun with friends. These are key transferable life skills which can be used in everyday situations.
Our Books are self standing for easy viewing
